Pauline Browes

Pauline Browes was MP for Scarborough Centre from 1988—1993 and served in the Brian Mulroney government as a parliamentary secretary and then as minister of state, first for the Environment, then for Employment and Immigration.  She was Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development under Prime Minister Kim Campbell.  She has served on the Ontario Environmental Review Tribunal and now advises the Commission for Environmental Cooperation.

Annamarie Castrilli

Annamarie Castrilli is a lawyer and former member of the Ontario Legislature.  She has served as chair of the UofT Governing Council, trustee at Sunnybrook Hospital and director of the Royal Ontario Museum.  During her tenure as President of the National Congress of Italian Canadians the government of Canada apologized for the internment of Italian Canadians during World War Two.

Sean Conway

Sean Conway studied Canadian History at Wilfrid Laurier and Queen’s Universities and was elected MPP from Renfrew in 1975.  He served as Minister of Education and Government House Leader in the David Peterson government from 1985—90 and, since leaving Queen’s Park in 2003, has taught history at Queen’s, UofT, and TMU (formerly Ryerson) and served as a policy advisor at Gowlings WLG.

Francesca Grosso

Francesca Grosso is an author, public affairs professional and principal with the firm Grosso McCarthy where she provides counsel to public sector and private sector clients.  She was Director of Policy to Ontario’s Minister of Health and Long Term Care, and recently co-authored with Michael Decter a best-selling book, Navigating Canada’s Health Care: A User’s Guide to the Canadian Health Care System.

John Parker

John Parker was a member of the Ontario Legislature from 1995—1999.   He also served two terms on Toronto City Council, 2006—2014, and was Deputy Speaker during his second term.  Parker helped found the Ontario Association of Former Parliamentarians and is a Director of the Churchill Society for the Advancement of Parliamentary Democracy.  Parker is a lawyer and former chair of the East York Committee of Adjustment.

Graham Scott

Graham Scott is a lawyer and former managing partner of McMillan LLP.  Scott was Executive Assistant to Robert Stanfield while he was Leader of the Opposition.  In the Ontario Civil Service he was Assistant Attorney General, Associate Secretary of Cabinet and Deputy Minister of Environment and of Health.  He was board chair of the Canadian Institute for Health Information, served on many other boards, and was appointed a member of the Order of Canada in 2005.

Gordon Walker (Chair)

Gordon Walker was on London City Council before being elected MPP where he served in both the Bill Davis and Frank Miller cabinets.  Walker has been a senior fundraiser for political parties and many charitable foundations such as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.  He served on the International Joint Commission from 1992—1995 and again from 2013—2018, when he chaired the Canadian Section.  Walker was appointed a member of the order of Canada in 2019.
